Yes, the deadlift form is far from perfect. It's even hideous I'd say. The deads on this video are from one particular Max Effort day where guys were all competing and trying to set new 1RM's. These are guys who had been training for years and are experienced & strong enough to take a risk. I usually advocate against it and would never allow novices to do it but some days the spirit of competition takes over and form goes out the window in a contest to see who wants it more. It's just a fact.

sick squats. i agree, the form on deadlift looks bad. but it shows how strong his back is.

Killer video! That was fun to watch. One comment though... the one guy's deadlift form looks a little rough. He's rounding his back about half way and hitching near the top. He might end up with back problems if he keeps doing it that way.
